I graduated from Central St Martins in 2002 with a printed textile design degree.
Preferring product and 3D design I enjoyed a niche and successful 15 year career designing handbags and leathergoods, for clients such as Anya Hindmarch, Aspinals of London & Whistles.
It started in a small cottage in Berkshire, where my parents still live.
As a child of the 90s, I bounced on a William Morris sofa and pored over Laura Ashley catalogues. I developed a deep appreciation for the chintz fabrics that brought nature into the home. This set my path and aesthetic in a way I would come to understand much later.
